More than a dozen San Antonio roads closed from flooding
Strong storms and heavy rain have taken over the Alamo City over the past few days, and while the worst is over, San Antonians are now faced with several road closures across the city due to flooding.
Following many rounds of showers, San Antonio will finally see clear skies and sunshine Thursday afternoon, January 25. Dense fog settled in this morning as the rain has come to an end and will last through mid-morning, but much needed sunshine is expected to take over soon as the fog thins out, according to NWS.
South Central Texas can expect warmer temperatures over the next few days with lows dipping into the 40s and highs reaching up to the 70s. Temperatures will lower a bit going into next week with lows dipping into the 30s and highs staying in the 60s.

Overnight showers only added more rainfall amounts to the area causing many roads to remain or be shut down. Officials warn drivers to “turn around, don’t drown” during their morning commutes and to not attempt to drive around barricades onto flooded roadways.
